Copper tongue scraper
With cotton bag
Copper is the traditional material used for this instrument for centuries in Ayurveda. However, it does require regular maintenance in order not to get damaged as it can rust in contact with water.
How to pass the tongue scraper?
- During the oral care routine, before the mouthwash.
- You just have to pass it once, not too hard so as not to hurt your tongue and not too far to avoid nausea.
- Frequency: it can be 1X/morning and 1X/evening.
- After use, rinse the tongue scraper under the tap. Make sure it stays clean and dry between each use, by storing it in its bag, drawer or cabinet. To clean it, you can use toothpaste to make it look like new.
Caution: If you have an irritation on your tongue, a cut or open sores (canker sores), do not use a tongue scraper. Allow your tongue to heal before scratching it.
