Palo Santo (meaning sacred wood in Spanish) is a deciduous tree that grows in northern Peru. Used for thousands of years by the Incas and in traditional medicine, its essential oil, nicknamed the oil of meditation, promotes a feeling of well-being & relaxation. The oil moves forward because, on the energetic side, it proves to be a real springboard to turn the page better, to transform itself.1

Before using an essential oil, if in doubt, here is a tolerance test that allows you to check your sensitivity to essential oils. Place three drops of the essential oil mixture in the hollow of the elbow or wrist and wait a few minutes for a topical reaction or up to 48 hours for an allergic reaction. Caution: do not use essential oils that are said to be dermo caustic or phototoxic, as they may cause burns on the skin.
