Rose geranium essential oil has a very floral scent, with notes of rose more or less pronounced. It is much appreciated in cosmetics for restoring radiance to the complexion and as an anti-aging treatment.1 Its properties for skin balance are very beneficial. 2
It has been observed, for example, that it contributes to the increase of collagen deposit in the skin and that it improves the closing of wounds. This oil contains geraniol which has anti-elastase and anti-keratinase activity.3
