Turmeric - Essential Oil

Size: 5 ml

Certified pure

Origin: India

The essential oil of the popular turmeric, which has been incorporated into Ayurvedic and traditional Chinese medicine for millennia, is a broad-spectrum oil.1 With respect to oral health, emerging evidence suggests that curcumin has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties that may be beneficial in the treatment of certain diseases of the oral cavity. For example, a mouthwash containing curcumin has also been shown to be as effective as chlorhexidine in reducing inflammation in people who have undergone periodontal treatment for ginvitis.2 Popular in Indian, African and Oriental cuisines, this star ingredient in golden milk has also appealed to the West.
