Thym (thymol) – Essential oil
Format: 5 ml
Certified pure
Origin: Spain
Thyme has been commonly used for thousands of years as a culinary herb and is also considered a medicinal plant. In the past, it was burned to purify the air. Today, it is still highly valued for its antiseptic properties. The essential oil of thyme with thymol is the most powerful essential oil of thyme. It is dermocaustic, meaning that it burns the skin; it should never be applied pure. It is often found in the composition of many oil blends for minor winter ailments.1 Several studies have given it numerous indications, including cardio, circulation, breathing and digestion.2-4 When diffused, its wonderful fresh, spicy grassy scent is easily recognized!
