What makes it different?

• Used in herbal medicine to help: treat chronic venous insufficiency and associated symptoms, treat varicose veins, relieve seasonal allergy symptoms, support liver/liver function, relieve digestive disorders/dyspepsia

• Used in herbal medicine as: supportive therapy to help relieve rheumatic pain, nutritional tonic, diuretic as an adjuvant for emptying the urinary canal in minor urinary disorders, hepatoprotective agent/liver protector.

• When used with sufficient calcium and vitamin D, helps to mitigate/reduce bone mineral density loss (BMD) in postmenopausal women. May reduce severe and frequent symptoms related to menopause (such as hot flashes and/or night sweats).

• Aesculus hippocastanum is traditionally used in herbal medicine to help treat hemorrhoids. Taraxacum officinale is traditionally used in herbal medicine to help: increase bile flow (cholagogue and choleretic), stimulate appetite, treat digestive disorders (indigestion).

Dosage and instructions for use

• Recommended dosage Adults/Women postmenopausal and post-menopausal: 2 capsules 1 time a day. To increase urine output, adequate fluid intake is required during treatment.

• Duration of use: For effects on liver functions, use for at least 3 weeks to be able to see the beneficial effects. For the effect on bone density loss, use for at least 6 months to see the beneficial effects. Consult a health care practitioner if use lasts longer than one year. For effects on hot flashes and/ or night sweats, use for several weeks so that the beneficial effects can be seen. To target urinary tract, digestive disorders and loss of appetite, consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist beyond 2 weeks.

• Precautions and warnings: Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Make sure your medical records are up to date with mammograms, endometrial ultrasound or biopsies before using this product. Stop use and consult a health care practitioner if you feel any pain, discomfort, or breast sensitivity, or if you observe abnormal uterine bleeding including small bleeding or recurrence of menstruation for postmenopausal women. Consult a health care practitioner before use if you have a history of hormonal or gynecological diseases (e.g., ovarian cancer, endometriosis, and/or uterine fibroids). Consult a health care practitioner before using if you are on hormone replacement therapy. Consult a health care practitioner before use if you have liver or gallbladder disease and/or intestinal obstruction.

• Contraindications: Do not use this product if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use this product if you have or have had breast cancer, have a predisposition to breast cancer as indicated by mammography and/or abnormal biopsy, or have a family history of breast cancer. Do not use this product if you have heart disease, high or low blood pressure, kidney or liver disorder, diabetes or edema (swelling of hands, face or feet), or are taking diuretic products.

• Known adverse reactions: Some people may experience headaches, dizziness, stomach irritation or itching. Discontinue use if hypersensitivity/allergy occurs. Discontinue use and seek immediate medical attention if you experience dizziness, confusion, muscle weakness or pain, abnormal heart rate and/or breathing difficulties.
