Recommended Dose (Postmenopausal Women)
1 capsule 2 times a day. Take one hour before bedtime.
Uses
Used in Herbal Medicine to helps support cognitive function and/or reduce mental fatigue (in cases of mental stress). Used in Herbal Medicine to helps enhance physical capacity/performance (in cases of physical stress). Used in Herbal Medicine as an adaptogen to help increase energy and resistance to stress (e.g., in case of mental and physical fatigue related to stress). Helps relieve symptoms associated with menopause such as hot flashes, night sweats, paresthesia (tingling, burning sensation of the skin), insomnia, nervousness, dizziness, fatigue, rheumatic pain and vaginal dryness. Source of/Provides antioxidants. Used in Herbal Medicine to reduce hot flashes associated with menopause. Salvia officinalis is traditionally used in Herbal Medicine to reduce hyperhidrosis/excessive sweating or perspiration (antihidrotic).
Warnings
Keep out of reach of children. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have diabetes or if you are taking antidepressants, blood thinners or digoxin. Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Do not use this product if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or have a seizure disorder such as epilepsy. Stop use if you experience insomnia, anxiety or headaches.
Duration of Use
