Jasmine:

Neroli:
An Italian princess gave her name to neroli oil, drawn from the flowers of the bitter orange tree, which served to made in bouquets to soothe brides. Appreciated for its pleasant smell and its action on skin problems, it is used in cosmetics and perfumery. The properties of neroli oil remained unknown until the 16th century, although the therapeutic effects of bitter orange have been recognized since the first century AD. It was also, along with Bergamot, lemon, lavender and rosemary, one of the ingredients used in the production of cologne, which was served to dissipate the vapors.
Traditionally its white flowers, symbols of purity, are used in the bouquets of the bride, both for their beauty and to calm the nervousness of the young bride.
