Niaouli – Essential oil
Format: 5 ml
Certified pure
Origin: Madagascar
Niaouli is used as an ornamental plant in many tropical countries, to the point of becoming invasive in some ecosystems. However, its essential oil, reminiscent of eucalyptus by its smell, excels thanks to its many properties. 1
One study describes niaouli as being known for its applications in aromatherapy and pharmaceutical preparations against coughs, colds, rheumatism and neuralgia, also serving as a sedative, has antifungal activity and is used in the perfume industry. Due to its chemical composition, this essential oil has been evaluated for its antioxidant and antimicrobial potential.2
