Ma détox

First, Detox, why this word? Our definition of detox: eating a nutritious and highly digestible diet so that our body can fulfill all its functions. I repeat, detox is not a diet and far be it from me to count calories. The goal is not to be thin either, but rather to feel good about our bodies and to make everything easier, more fulfilling, & more radiant.

Addicted, eating well? Let's go to the simplest & fastest way for so many benefits!

Let's look at different options and what we get in terms of nutritional value and therapeutic benefits. I bet on perfect plant proteins, good fats (that cut hunger, nourish the skin and support the production of energy in the body), antioxidants, beauty ingredients & abundance of colorful plants in the form of gourmet salad.

Each food, each meal, each preparation is thought out according to these qualities to produce the desired positive effect and make a difference

Morning

· Yellow tonic juice (ginger, turmeric, pineapple, lemon, cayenne) 1 shot when you wake up each morning which, my goodness, also helps to "cleanse." (Do you have a better word?) 250 ml - $11.25

Cost: 250 ml divided by 30 ml (the amount of a shooter) = 8 mornings at approx. $1.60 per day.

Low-cost option: simply squeeze half a lemon into a glass of room temperature water or into the warm water that warms up so well in the morning, wonderful and beneficial in the winter.

Cost: according to the market price.

· Fibers (Essential Fibers $37 or Acacia Fibers $47)

Cost: Essential Fiber 350 g divided by 15 g (1 tbsp) = $1.58 per day.

Cost: Acacia 350 g divided by 15 g (1 tbsp) = $2.01 per day.

·Low-cost option: chia seeds. You can add 15 g (1 tablespoon) to your shake to promote fiber intake.

Cost: depending on the market price.

· Protein Shake*:

3 gourmet and supportive flavors available: Vanilla, Chocolate or Berries $74.

Cost: $2.18 per serving. (Protein value: Chocolate = 19.80 g, Vanilla = 22.59 g, Berries = 18.3 g of protein)

Low-cost option: Fermented brown rice protein $29.

Cost: $1.45 per serving (1 tbsp = 13 g of protein)

·I like to add cocoa to my shake for its anti-aging benefits and good fats and as a bonus its mood-enhancing effect. 1 kg bag at $28.

Cost: $0.42 per serving (1 tablespoon) or 66 servings per bag.

Lunch

· Before lunch and dinner, a salad of 12-14 different organic vegetables. For its richness and diversity in colors (in polyphenols). You can buy a bulk tray of sprouts and vegetables already prepared for you, containing 5 portions:

In store $32.50. Cost: $6.50 per serving.

Online, for express delivery, add $12.50 for 5 or 10 servings.

To reduce the cost, subscriptions are available at a discount. (1-3-6-12 months).

Low-cost option: buy vegetables and prepare at home.Cost: according to market price.

You can add a protein such as tempeh, avocado for good fat, nuts or seeds, sprouts and mung beans, herbs and then add spices.

A non-vegan could add, for example, eggs or the protein of his/her choice, without forgetting the salad dressing prepared at home or those offered in stores or online.

Classic Dressing, in a shaker, 350 ml for $16.50 or Creamy Old-Fashioned Dressing, in a shaker, 350 ml for $10.50. At 2 tablespoons per serving of salad, you'll have approximately 11 meals worth.

· Drink of Youth: Le Complet, my green juice powder, is an essential for me. Greens have been a part of my life for over 20 years. Nice touch: based on this 2010 article, 1 serving of Complet per day (in terms of spirulina content) is equivalent to 14.5% of the recommended daily allowance for B-12.

300 g - $49.50 So 3 servings per day of the Complete = 44% of the daily value.

Cost: $49.50 divided by 5g (1 tsp) = $0.82 per serving.

Also, I add MCT oil $27. (For the good fats).

Cost: 450 ml divided by 15 ml (1 tbsp) = $0.90 per day.

As well as a 300 g serving of Marine Collagen - $49

Cost: 300 g divided by 13 g serving = $2.13 per day.

Low-cost option: buy the vegetables and make a green juice.

Evening

·

For an addition of good fats and little sweets, you can find our "perfect desserts", concocted, for example, with cocoa, coconut oil, nut butter, etc. To be made at home, the recipes can also be found on the Blog or in ready-to-eat foods, in store and online. For example:

Snack Square $4.75 - Hemp Chocolate Crunch Bar $6.75 - Triple Chocolate & Walnut Brownie $4.00 - Meal Bar $6.75 - 2 Energy Balls $3.25

·If you have a craving during the day, the shake remains a great alternative.

·At bedtime: the Friend, as needed (for performance).

Not to mention the possibility of having a personalized meal box delivered directly to your home or to the desired location, with the addition of your desired supplements.

My philosophy is based on two principles: performance and nutrient-dense food to support our metabolism and fulfill us.

If you need a change, to find yourself, to feel good about yourself, to multiply your energy, simply, without depriving yourself, without counting, here is the total to support our metabolism and fill us up.

We look forward to meeting again to start this new year with well-being, to spice up, illuminate, warm up, and above all, to live our days well
