Commonly used in cooking and especially popular for relieving toothaches.1 It is its high eugenol content that has earned it a reputation. A study has shown that eugenol, present in this oil, shows excellent antimicrobial activity.2 Another study has pointed out that the combination of cinnamon and clove oil could indeed be used as a potential source of a new, safe and effective natural antibacterial, antifungal and antioxidant blend in the food and pharmaceutical industries.3

This oil is dermocaustic, for any use by skin, it must be strongly diluted, it remains that its perfume comforts and warms. An essential during the cold season.
