In the past, lemons were only considered decorative because of their beautiful bright color. Its virtues were revealed a little later, towards the X1st century; it is the richness in vitamin C of the lemon which allowed the sailors to fight the scurvy.1 From the too much watered meal to the blow of brightness for the skin & hair and without forgetting its antiseptic and deodorizing properties of the air which will leave with the passage a fruity, fresh & invigorating odor; it is also an asset which seems to be able to help to drive out the depression and to relax. Lemon essential oil is also a perfume beautifier, it enhances and fixes aromas. It remains without doubt a versatile oil that will delight many!

Before using an essential oil, if in doubt, here is a tolerance test that allows you to check your sensitivity to essential oils. Simply place 3 drops of the essential oil mixture in the hollow of the elbow or wrist and wait a few minutes for a topical reaction, or up to 48 hours for an allergic reaction. Caution: do not use essential oils that are said to be dermocaustic or phototoxic, as they may cause burns on the skin.
Do not apply them pure on the skin or on the mucous membranes.
Avoid any contact with the eyes.
Respect the recommended doses.
