Vitamin D3 and K2

According to my research, the only true source of Vitamin D3 is sunshine or as a supplement. Vitamin K2, which activates Vitamin D3 in our bodies as well as facilitates calcium absorption, is produced by healthy intestinal bacteria. Lacto-fermented foods (sauerkraut and miso fermented by B. Subtilis) are good sources of Vitamin K2 and leafy greens contain Vitamin K (needed for blood clotting).
