Spicy Chickpeas

Spicy Chickpeas

  • 1 can chickpeas (I like the Eden brand)
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne salt (to taste)

Preheat oven to 400° F.

Rinse and drain the chickpeas. Put them on a clean cloth to remove the excess water. Toss in a bowl with the rest of the ingredients. Spread the chickpeas on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Roast for about 15 minutes. Toss and bake 10 more minutes, until slightly browned. Be careful not to overcook them or else they will become hard. Enjoy!
