Homemade Recipes to Offer as a Gift to Yourself and Others!

NOTE: You can add Epsom Salts, Himalayan Sea Salt or Fleur de Sel to all Herbal Blends

Dosage: 3 Tbsp – ¼ C dried herbs per bath (add about ½ C salt if so desired)

Method (two options)

  1. Bring 1 L of filtered water to boil and add to herbal blend, infuse 15 minutes and add to bath
  2. Add herbs directly to bath water, add salt when filled halfway.

Use equal parts of all herbs:

Heavy Metal Detoxification: dandelion, rosehip, seaweed* (wakame or kelp)

Happiness: chamomile, verbena, rosemary

Purification: ginger, sage, thyme

Calm: lavender, lemongrass, chamomile, hops

Seasonal Allergies: elder (flowers or berries), mullein, marshmallow, peppermint

*Seaweed Baths can be very effective, if you would like a more therapeutic spa effect add 3-4 oz. dried seaweed (boiled for 30 minutes in water or added directly to bath). The seaweed will form a film on your skin and when it disappears (after approx. 45 minutes) you know that they have done their job! Your skin has now absorbed the beneficial minerals released by the seaweed, which will shrink in size. Make sure to remove the seaweed before draining the bath in order to avoid clogging the drain. These powerful ocean gifts stimulate the thyroid gland, adrenal glands, heal skin problems, reduce joint pain, stimulate the elimination of toxins, balance skin pH, stimulate the liver and increase fat metabolism.

Essential Oils for Therapeutic Baths

Add 3 Tbsp. Sea Salt while running bath water and once ready, add the essential oils.

Two recipes to Cleanse Energy:

  • 3 drops Neroli, 1 drop Orange, 2 drops Bitter Orange
  • 2 drops Rosemary (avoid if pregnant), 1 drop Eucalyptus, 3 drops Lavender

To Soothe Guilt:

  • 2 drops Jasmine, 1 drop Sage (avoid if pregnant), 2 drops Rose

To Receive Love:

  • 2 drops Lavender, 2 drops Mandarin, 1 drop Chamomile

To Help Let Go:

  • 2 drops Lemon, 1 drop Pine, 2 drops Juniper
